Benefits of the Membership of the Chamber of Indian Charitable Trusts
The chamber of Indian Charitable Trusts will –
Render the Advice, Aid, Assistance, Consultancy, and Guidance on any issues, matters, problems, queries, or questions arising from and on any provisions of the Charitable Trust Acts, Byelaws, Circulars, Notifications, Rules & Regulations announced / circulated / declared / made / notified / published by the Charity Commissioner and / or ay prescribed Authority/ies under the Public / Charitable Trusts Acts enacted by the Different Central / State / Union Territory Governments and / or by the Central Board of Direct Taxes to its Members.
Make Representations for and on behalf of the Members before / to Charity / Income Tax Commissioner/s, Officer/s, Members of the Staff of the Office of the Charity Commissioner / Commissioner of Income Tax (Exemption), Central or State or Union Territory Government/s or Semi Government/s or Local Authority, and the various other statutory authority/ies like Office of the President, Prime Minister, Ministry of Social Welfare, and such other identical and similar authority/ies prescribed under the Chartable Acts, Byelaws, and the Rules made under the Public Trust Acts of the different State / Union Territory Governments and the Income Tax Act for and on behalf of and for the benefits of the Members.
Publish, Circulate, and Distribute the brochures, bulletins, magazines, newsletters, newspapers, periodicals, pamphlets, e-literature and publications, audio cassette, video cassettes, records, CD-ROMs, CD-Disks, Floppy for educating and upgrading the Members on various matters affecting the day-to-day activities of the Trustees.
Organize conferences, refresher courses, seminars, symposiums, lectures, tailor-made courses including e-courses for educating the Members.
Render advisory & consultancy services in respect of the liability of the Trustees under the Public Trust Act / Income Tax Act and other identical / similar Acts, laws, and Statutes and the Byelaws, Circulars, and the Rules and Regulations, obligations, and / or ancillary, incidental to or arising from any statutes like Public Trust Act of different States / Union Territories and / or the Income Tax Act, and / or Goods & Service Tax Act to the members.
Represent the Members’ Grievances before any Charity Commissioner/s and / or the Officers working under him / them and / or before any Tax Authorities including Original / Revisional / Appellate Authorities / CBDT / CBIT and Customs.
Guide the Members on how to fill up various Forms, and Returns prescribed under the Public Trusts Acts and / or the Income Tax Act and / or how to prepare, file and submit the applications, petitions or appeals under various charity and taxing laws and statutes by conducting short-term courses for the same.
Assist, cooperate, and help the Members to represent their issues, problems, queries, and questions before the prescribed authorities under the Public Trust Act and the Income Tax Act, and how get their Refunds / Input Tax Credits due to them and interest accrued thereon because of assessment / reassessment / revision / rectification and / or appeal under the Income Tx Act 1961.
Prepare applications, petitions, plaints, appeals, and file, submit the same for and on behalf of the Members to the Offices of the President, Prime Minister, Commerce Minister, Social and Welfare Minister, Finance Minister, Industry Minister, Judicial & Law Minister, Central Board of Direct Taxes, Central Board of Indirect Taxes, Charity Commissioner, Appropriate Authority/ies prescribed under various taxing laws and statutes including but not limited to the authority prescribed under Right to Information Act.
Prepare, file, and submit the Public Interest Litigation (PIL) Petition and / or Writ Petition before any Court of Law, especially before the Honorable High Court and / or Supreme Court of India and / or any Court of Law or Tribunal and / or any Judicial Forum.
Form various committees and / or advisory councils / panels.Assist, extend cooperation, and help to the Central and / or the State Government/s and / or Local Authority/ies in simplifying the various Public / Charitable Trust Acts / Laws / Statutes and the Tax Laws / Statutes by making various suggestions / recommendations to the Central, State, and Union Territory Government for the benefits of the Members.

Commence, establish, manage, open, operate, run, set up, start, and close down State-wise, Union Territory-wise, Zone-wise, the Branches and / or Chapters within each District of the State and / or within the district.
Provide Networking Opportunities among the : – (a) Members having the identical and similar objects, (b) Members having similar Source of Income like and engaged in identical and similar charitable activities, objects, and projects. (c) Members, the Officers, and the Staff of the Office of the Charity Commissioner and / or of the Tax Authorities.
Do any acts, deeds or things which is in the best interests of the member/s and / or which may protect their interest.
